You can upload files, images, and, videos to DocSend from the Content library tab.

Accepted file types
DocSend accepts the following file types and extensions:
- Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt)
- Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc)
- Keynote (.key)
- Images
- Videos (.3gp, .3gpp, .3gpp2, .asf, .avi, .dv, .m2t, .m4v, .mkv, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .mts, .ogv, .rm, .ts, .vob, .webm, .wmv)
Additionally, users on the Standard plan and above can upload additional download-only file types. Learn more about download-only files.
Upload a file
To upload a new document to your Content library:
- Log in to docsend.com.
- Click Content library in the left sidebar.
- Click Upload.
- Click File or Folder from the dropdown menu.
- Locate the document on your desktop or external account, or drag and drop the document from your computer.
- Click Upload.
A window in the lower right will show the progress of your upload.
Switch upload provider
You can upload documents into DocSend directly from any of the following external accounts:
- Dropbox
- Google Drive
- Box
- OneDrive/OneDrive for Business
- Sharepoint Online
- Egnyte

Multi-file uploads
With multi-asset uploading, you can queue multiple assets to be uploaded from your device or any of the cloud-based services listed above. To upload multiple assets:
File or folder uploads:
- Log in to docsend.com.
- Click Content library in the left sidebar.
- Click Upload.
- Click File or Folder from the dropdown menu.
- Press and hold control (Windows) or command (macOS).
- Select the files or folders you want to upload.
- Click Open.

You can continue to upload more by clicking Upload in the top-right corner.
Cloud uploads:
- Log in to docsend.com.
- Click Content library in the left sidebar.
- Click Upload.
- From the dropdown menu, click Cloud storage.
- From the dropdown menu, choose the desired cloud provider.
- While holding CRTL/Command or Shift, highlight the desired assets you want to upload.
- Click Upload.
As each asset is uploaded, a window in the lower right corner will show the progress of the upload of all your files.
Image uploads
Notes:
- Images need to be less than 50 megapixels.
- Watermarking is not currently supported for video, audio, image, and spreadsheet uploads.
- GIFs will be uploaded as GIFs.
- Animated file types like .webp will be displayed as .jpeg files but will download as their original file type.
Things to consider
- Users can upload multiple assets within a folder by dragging and dropping them onto the uploader, but not the folder itself.
- Users can upload multiple files into a Space using the Add content button when accessing a Space. Learn more about managing files in spaces.

Visitors will see the name of your files if you create a link that allows the file to be downloaded. In that case, the file name shown on DocSend will be used as the name of the downloaded file.
- You can change this name at any time by clicking on the file name from the file details page.
