Overview
DocSend data rooms provide audit logs (or, audit trails) that allow you to see a record of actions taken by users in that data room. Audit logs make it easier to meet compliance requirements and manage liabilities.

Features included
Filter through audit logs
The audit log page displays all auditable actions in one place. You can filter the audit log by:
- Users: Filter by user to view all actions taken by specific individuals.
- Activity: Filter by specific actions such as adding or downloading files.
- Date: Filter to view actions that took place within a specific date range.
Export audit logs as .CSV files
Click Download on the audit log page to export a .CSV file containing your audit log records.
Remove user information from audit logs
You can remove information that could be used to identify individuals from your audit logs, and delete audit log records as needed. Deleting an audit log entry removes potentially sensitive user information but retains information about what actions were taken and when.
When you delete an activity from the audit log, that user data is permanently removed and can’t be restored.
