2023 Highlights

Creative image formats

Own and secure your creative process from start to finish with DocSend's rich media formats — from client sourcing, proposal management, and deal execution in DocSend. DocSend now supports graphic design files, CAD and 3D designs, and more, along with the ability to set advanced controls over images. 

DocSend audio player 

Exert control over and collect insights on your audio files. DocSend now supports audio files, along with direct upload capabilities, access controls, and advanced engagement analytics.



2022 Highlights

File requests

Collect files from anyone, whether they have a DocSend account or not. Request files from external parties and let them upload to the content library or within Spaces.

Advanced video analytics

The analytics you know and trust for your documents are now available for video files. Our new advanced video analytics allow you identify engagement that matters with key features like a color-coded engagement scale that gives you a snapshot of how much attention a viewer gave your video, along with new detailed graphs (dropoff and performance), and the ability to personalize controls and presentation with a branded video player.

One-click agreements

Protecting sensitive content just got easier. DocSend users can require viewers to sign NDAs or other agreements before accessing their files, and allow them to sign with a single click.

DocSend video player 

DocSend now supports video files with the ability to directly upload into the platform and set download permissions, along with basic analytics (playback time, playback percentage, and individual visitor data).

Contact eSignature history

Finding contact eSignatures just got easier. DocSend users now have more visibility into contact eSignatures, including date signed and full eSignature history.

Improved NDA management 

Quickly access the most up-to-date non-disclosure agreements directly from one place in DocSend. Admins can set a destination folder to store all NDAs, as well as archive and unarchive agreements.

Watermarking in Space Permissions

Exert more control over files in your DocSend data room. DocSend users can now watermark individual files and folders in a DocSend data room.

Improved image experience

Have more control over and collect insights from images in DocSend with an improved image experience. You can prevent downloads and set access restrictions on images (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .svg, .tiff, .webp, .heic) and GIFs, all while collecting analytics to inform business decisions.


Save to Dropbox

Keeping track of your DocSend signables just got easier with Save to Dropbox. DocSend users with DropBox accounts can now link their accounts and save DocSend signables directly to Dropbox.

Note: NDAs are not currently supported.

Dashboard analytics

DocSend has a new dashboard, designed to give users deeper data-driven insights about how and when visitors use your content. The new analytical tracking includes a new list of your most engaged contacts, a more detailed log of recent visits, and new options to sort by views, page visits, and time spent on documents. 

File Refresh 

Save time and ensure accuracy with File Refresh. Seamlessly update files imported into DocSend from an external storage provider (e.g., Dropbox or Google Drive) in one click. 

Space Folder Downloads

Accessing content is even easier with Space Folder Downloads. Your Space visitors will be able to download full folders, as well as individual files, directly in the Space — no need to navigate into a source file for access.

Signable Custom Date Fields

Personalize signable documents and NDAs with Custom Date Formats. You can add date fields into all NDAs and signable documents and choose from US, Europe, and International Standard formats.

More options to mine your data. You can upload content from Egnyte ESP directly into DocSend.



2021 Highlights

Custom Document Thumbnails

Create a more tailored user experience with Custom Document Thumbnails. You can customize the thumbnail of any content type by uploading an image to be used as the content’s thumbnail.

Block List

Ensure that the right people have access to your shared links and Spaces with Block List. You can block specific email addresses or domains from accessing your shared links or Spaces. Once enabled, those who are on the Block List will be denied access immediately.

Custom Field NDA

Design the document you need with Custom Field NDAs. You can add custom in-line fields — no downloading necessary.

Manual Space Notifications

Keep your viewers informed of content changes with real-time Space Notifications. Send Space visitors an email alert from DocSend when files are added or edited.

Multiple NDAs

Manage more documents with more efficiency with Multiple NDAs. This feature allows companies to have more than one NDA active at a time, so different links can deliver different NDAs.

Space Visits Download

Evaluate visitor traction and analyze your visitor log with Space Visits Download. Export and download visit data via CSV file.
