As a DocSend user, you get to decide whether visitors can download or print your content. This setting is controlled on a link-by-link basis and can be changed at any time, even after a link has been shared!
Skipping Ahead
Create a Downloadable Link

- Click Create link.
- Check the box next to “Allow downloading”.
- Apply any other desired link settings.

Important Note: Enabling downloading also allows visitors to print the content.
Update an Existing Link to Allow Downloads
Links are flexible–you can update an existing link to allow downloading at any time as demands change.
To update an existing link and allow downloading:
- Find the link you want to update.
- Click the “settings” icon next to the link.
- Check the box next to “Allow downloading”.

Track Downloaded Content
To see which of your visitors downloaded your content, you can check the "Recent Visits" tab on the document page. Downloads are denoted by a blue download icon next to the visit duration.
